This is my second time around with using Frames Direct and I had the same great experience as before. Price was good, it was shipped within the week and I like what I got.

The only difficult thing to do with online eyeglasses stores is trying to pick out the frames. Frames Direct virtual try on assistant is okay and it does help a bit I just wish there was a better way, not that I can think of. Anyways its worth doing it online instead of at a store because of the price alone so I guess I shouldn't complain to much.

My next order with Frames Direct will be probably for my daughter. She is 10 and I know she has problems seeing the blackboard at school so I think she has glasses in her future as well.

BTW Paypal checkout was handy.

I have been buying eyeglasses for years and I usually end up getting them at my eye doctors office. This year I figured I would do something different. I found a pair I like at the doctors and tried them on to make sure they fit and looked at them on in the mirror to confirm they looked fine when I had them on fashion wise. On a side note it is amazing how sometimes you think something will look good on you but when you actually try it on it is the complete opposite. Anyways... the price was over $200 so I figured I would take a look online first before purchasing a pair since I don't have health insurance at the moment. 

I am glad I did as I found several eye glasses retailers that had significantly better pricing. I choose Frames Direct because they have been around a long time and their website looked profession with lots of frame selection. A number of reviews I also read online seemed to indicate they were the best option.

I don't particularly like cutting out my eye doctor from a purchase since I like the guy, but the price difference was too much for me to ignore. I found the exact same frames at Frames Direct within a few minutes of searching and had added my lens prescription and completed the purchase in under 20 minutes. By the following week I had received my glasses in the mail and they were just like the ones at the doctors. They fit fine and the prescription was correct.

I would purchase from Frames Direct again.

I had a good experience with Frames Direct. They have a huge selection of frames which can be overwhelming a bit trying to figure out which one to pick. Their virtual try on app works fairly well and helped me in my decision process. 

Once I picked out the frames I ordered them with the standard prescription lenses. They took about 8 days to arrive. The frames seem well built and are comfortable on my face.

I had no hiccups during the entire process so I didn't need any help from customer service. I also didn't order any accessories, I didn't need any.
