Bowflex is owned by Nautilus Inc. and based in Vancouver, Washington. Bowflex got their start in 1986 making home gyms that used tension rods to create constant resistance (the first being the Bowflex 2000X) instead of using weights. Fitness
For Fitness and calorie burning workouts Bowflex has 2 main options. The first is the Bowflex TreadClimber. This cardio machine is designed to get you burning more calories and boost your metabolism. This low impact fitness machine is a combination of motions from a treadmill and a stepper. All you do is walk to see results from toning your thighs, glutes, and core, to loosing weight.
Your second option is the Bowflex Max Trainer series. This series of machines are a combination of a stair stepper and elliptical and is designed to give you a intense full-body workout in only 14 minutes. First launched in 2013 the Bowflex Max Trainer allows you to burn more than two and a half calories than a traditional elliptical. It's footprint is also half that of a tread mill at only 2.5 feet by 3.5 feet. For ceiling height it is recommended to have the user's height plus 15 inches.
Bowflex TreadClimbers and Max Trainers which have Blue Tooth also support tracking of your workouts. You can either use the Bowflex designed app for the machine or supported third party exercise apps like My Fitness Pal, Apple Health Kit, Google Fit and UnderArmour's UA Record. All of these machines have a maximum capacity of 300 lbs.
Bowflex Max Trainer M3
The Bowflex Max Trainer M3 allows you to control 8 levels of resistance and speed with a turn of the hand grip. It can store 2 user profiles and has 1 program mode and a manual mode. Bowflex Max Trainer M5
The Bowflex Max Trainer M5 is an upgrade from the M3. It has 16 resistance levels and 8 workout programs. The display is backlit and is has a heart rate monitor integrated into the contact grips (plus a chest strap). The M5 also supports Bluetooth which allows it to synch with both iOS and Android phones to Bowflex's MaxApp2 which allows you to track your workout including calories burned and heart rate. Bowflex Max Trainer M7
The Bowflex Max Trainer M7 is the commercial grade premium model. The LCD display is larger, high contrast and backlit. It includes 20 resistance levels and 10 workout programs. Some of the programs also learn and adjusts to your needs to ensure you are working out at your max rate. The heart rate monitor is integrated into the contact grips and includes a chest strap version. Bowflex TreadClimber TC100
The Bowflex TreadClimber TC100 allows you to exercise at your own pace from 0.5 mph to 4.0 mph. It comes with built-in large backlit LCD screen, heart rate grips, USB charging port, and media stand. Compared with regular treadmills the TreadClimber is much more compact even with the built in rear machine step platform. Bowflex TreadClimber TC200

Workouts
For working out and building muscle Bowflex offers a series of home gyms which use either their Power Rod system or SpiraFlex. They also offer a selection of free weights under the name SelectTech. SelectTech dumbbells unique design allows you to shrink 34 separate dumbbells down to just 2. This compact design lets you go from 10 lbs up to 90 lbs (depending on model).
Bowflex Revolution Home Gym
The Bowflex Revolution Home Gym includes the SpiraFlex technology and is Bowflex's best gym with over 100 exercises and up to 400 variations. It is designed to work every major body zone, and support every workout routine, strength level and fitness goal.
This home gym is only available online from the Bowflex catalog website. It is their top of the line gym designed to be versatile in what exercises you can perform with it and offer the smoothest resistance thanks to the SpiraFlex technology. Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE Home Gym

Bowflex BodyTower Home Gym
The Bowflex BodyTower Home Gym unique, EZ-Adjust arms provide a greater range of options than most other towers, allowing you to perform over 18 exercises. It is built with heavy-duty steel tubing and has a wide base which gives it extra stability. The steel is powder coated and the closed-cell EVA foam cushion back pad and hand grips is non-absorbent and microbial resistant.
This tower includes a strategically placed workout placard which shows the 8 key exercises of every tower. This includes the chin up, crunch, pushup, raised bridge, squat, supine row, triceps dip, and vertical knee raise. The price for the BodyTower is $499.
SelectTech Dumbbells
Bowflex SelectTech free weights have an ingenious design that allow you to replace up to 17 sets of dumbbells (depending on model) with 1 set of Bowflex's SelectTech Dumbbells. While the dumbbells are in their holder, and by turning a dial on the end of the dumbbells it allows you change the weight of them in either 2.5 or 5 lb increments. A SelectTech dumbbell is made up of a bunch of mini weights. Turning the dial either locks or unlocks a select number of mini weights of the dumbbell depending on the setting you select. When you lift the dumbbell out of their holder you only lift the weight you have the dial set too and the remaining mini weights are left in the holder.
Included with each Selecttech Dumbells is a free Bowflex SelectTech workout DVD which shows you over 30 exercises and over 80 variations.
