Management | With web hosting, management usually deals with Virtual Private Servers and Dedicated Servers. There are usually 3 levels: Fully Managed, Partial Managed, and Self-Managed. It refers to the amount of control the person wants over the web server. Fully-Managed servers usually means that the web hosting service takes care of all operating system patches, updates to installed software, and backups.

Microsoft Access | Database management system that functions in the Windows environment and allows you to create and process data in a database.

Microsoft SQL Server | Microsoft's relational database used on windows servers. Abbreviation(s): MS SQL

Modem | A modem (modulator/demodulator) is equipment that converts digital signals to analog signals and vice versa. Modems are used to send data signals (digital) over the telephone network, which is usually analog. A modem modulates binary signals into tones that can be carried over the telephone network. At the other end, the demodulator part of the modem converts the tones to binary code.
