Does Frames Direct allow you to use Insurance? was created by Music Man
I was hoping to get a pair of Oakley sunglasses that I have seen on FramesDirect.com. For some reason it is the only place I have seen them being sold. Anyways does anyone know if Frames Direct accepts vision insurance plans from work?

Ordering prescription glasses (sun or regular) from an online glasses stores like Frames Direct is usually covered by most vision insurances. It is just like buying glasses at a regular store. You need to get a vision form from your insurance, fill it out and then include your receipt and send it all back to your insurance company. Your insurance company will then re-compensate you for the money owed which is usually between 80 and 100 percent of the total order to a set maximum.
Frames Direct does include forms online from several of the more popular insurance companies like EyeMed, Spectera, VSP, and Vision Benefits of America..
