STD Check has a process that is very privacy focused. It is very straightforward and honest, with no hidden fees. I got my test results within a few days of testing, as soon as each test was available.

You pay for the test through STD Check and then go to a partnering clinic, bring some forms, and get tested. The only clinics in my area were Quest Diagnostics.

But Quest Diagnostics recently suffered a 12 million patient data leak, and should not currently be trusted/partnered with STD Check.

Furthermore, Quest's email parser does not accept '+' signs in emails. This is useful for tracking who is sending an email, e.g. "myemail+questdiagnostics@gmail.com", despite this being RFC 2822 compliant. This is another significant concern and I was not aware of this until I was having my test.

Per this, I think STD Check may not closely investigate the clinics they choose. If upmost privacy is vital to you, research the clinic before choosing it. Quest was the only clinic available in my area.

Bottom line: Quick and fast results, very satisfied, and if privacy matters, research the clinic you choose to go to.

The price can get high but not unreasonable! Great company!!! Very kind people and they told me everything will be alright when I was scared! So very impressed! I will recommend this to anyone!!!
