There seems to be 2 main online std testing services. stdcheck and std test express. Both are reviewed on this site. I ended up choosing stdcheck and overall things went smoothly except that it took almost 5 days to get my results. I had picked stdcheck because they advertised test results in as little as 1 day. I wanted my results fast so I wasn't happy.

Well after I waited a day and still no email with my results I called stdcheck customer service. They were professional about things and they told me most people get their results in 2 BUSINESS days, sometimes 3 as it depends on the lab and how busy they are. Since I had done my test on Thursday afternoon I didn't see my results until late Monday. The lab technicians do not work on the weekend so only the week days counted. I should have realized that but it still kind of sucks when you are waiting for medical results that could affect you the rest of your life.
