DailyBurn has some nice workout programs at a very reasonable price, with some pluses and minuses. Right now I'm doing Pilates, it's tough but so good and I feel great after! The workouts are short and fit in great with my schedule. DailyBurn is definitely great for beginners like me with lots of programs and seems to have advance workout programs as well.
The daily 365 program appeals to me as well and for those of you who want a live instructor (a nice feature) and a different workout every day. I have used 365 for a month now and it tends to be for the beginner to intermediate level. It also doesn't seem to follow a specific program.
I have finished my 30 day free try and plan to keep on using DailyBurn as a subscriber.
I really do love this program. I perform the 365 workout at least 5 time's a week and have enjoyed seeing the personalities and workouts developed by the instructors grow and change.
I highly recommend Daily Burn for individuals who needs a workout app that can go with you and you don't have to be around weights to do it. Daily Burn works well with my job as I do travel a lot and probably stay in hotels at least a couple of weeks every few months. This way I continue on with my current routine without missing a workout.
I have it on my Roku, iPad, Kindle so I have no excuse not to workout!
Daily Burn's True Beginner and DB365 is my cup of tea. I had my knee replaced a few years ago after my 65th birthday so I was looking for something that is easy on my knees, low impact but will still give me a good calorie burning workout.
True Beginner fit my needs and I have recently been doing DB365 a couple of times a week at the lower level which also has been perfect. I really enjoy the positive and energetic outlook that the trainers have. Glad I tried out Daily Burn and it works well on my iPad.
I have never really used workout DVDs before and I never try trendy diets. I get bored easy, and with repetition comes boredom.
After my baby I wanted to get active. Going to a gym is hard as I would need to get child care. I saw an ad for Daily Burn and I figured it was worth a shot with the 30 day free trial. Plus the monthly cost is well below a gym membership. I really like the live 365 class in the morning. When my baby goes down for a nap in the morning I can load up the app and start the class. Surprisingly I didn't hate it like I thought I would and I found the exercise class challenging but not extremely difficult. I was the right blend of exercise to give me a balance workout.
I enjoy the balance the trainers bring to the class for the different levels and the styles they bring along with the motivation. When the trainers are actually having a good time I find it very motivating for me to have a good time and keep exercising.
I have used the app on my laptop and android tablet to great success. On my Kindle Fire though it is another story as the video pauses a lot for some reason. Not a huge deal as I then switch to use my Android tablet and I haven't looked back.
To me Dailyburn is like having an electronic gym membership but without the steep monthly price. You have all of these fitness class workouts at your disposal and a new Dailyburn 365 workout everyday. I now work out 4 times a week instead of 2 times when I went to a gym. It's much easier and more convenient to work out at home than going out to the gym. Thanks to my increased workout regime I have lost more weight and have reached my target goals!!!
The app has lots of videos. I have been using it for over 8 months now and I have not repeated any content yet. I really like the Dailyburn app and would recommend people to try out their free trial (that's what I did when I first tried it) if you are unsure about it. Just make sure you cancel before the 30 days if you don't want to continue to use it.
Pros
High quality exercise videos. Good for beginners and experts alike.
