Vistaprint

I ordered a bunch of colour double sided business cards from one of the styles VistaPrint offers. The style didn't quit match what I was looking for but it was close enough. Using the built in editor it was easy enough to add in my business name, logo, phone numbers and other details.

The order came quicker than I was initially notified via email about and it was easy to track the package through Canada Post. The quality of the cardboard used for the cards and the printing is really good with no imperfections that I could see from my untrained eye (I am in property management).

I used Vistaprint for my daughters weddings. I ordered the church programs and wedding invitations and thank you cards from them in 2 separate orders.

My daughter and I had ordered the invitations and thank-you cards first. It was a very long process since we are both very picky people and wanted things just right. We probably did about 3 different designs and ended up using one of Vistaprints own designs with our modifications. We changed around the text and fonts as well as added a few of our photos. We had finalized the order on Saturday and I was rereading our order on Monday and had notice a mistake. Horrified I quickly called Vistaprint and their customer service rep was very helpful. He said we still had time to fix the typo. Customer service fixed our mistake for us and suggested a few other small changes. When I checked the proofs again after the changes where applied I agreed that the invitations are even better. The gentlemen on the phone was very helpful with our design.

For the programs I liked the selection of templates Vistaprint has. One was perfect for my daughters sea side wedding. We had forgotten to order the wedding programs and with the wedding only a week a way Vistaprint was able to deliver them in 3 days. I was pretty happy since it was something I was suppose to do earlier but had forgotten in the rush to get everything else done.

Last Christmas I decided to personalize my gifts a bit. I had used Visa Print at works and had seen all of the different items they sell. I thought some of them would make great Christmas gifts for the family if I added a few pictures to them.

Delivery took a bit longer than I thought at almost 2 weeks. There was a lot of stuff and Vista Print waited until the full order was completed before sending.  That was fine though as I had ordered right at the beginning of December so I still had enough time to get things wrapped.

It wasn't that expensive either. I saved money this way when compared to what I would have spent at the mall on everyone. It took me longer though personalizing everything. I pretty much spent a full day organizing my photos and figuring out what pictures and text I wanted on each item. I then also had to design everything. The calendar wasn't bad but the T-shirts and mugs took a while. I redid them a few times as it took me a little bit to learn how to use the Vista Print website. There are a lot of options on how to place your photos and the color, size, and fonts for text.

On Christmas I could tell it was well worth the effort. My family loved their gifts. This is something I plan to do again as you get much more enjoyment out of seeing them with a gift I sort of made compared to something store bought.

I have used vistaprint for the last year and I haven't gone back to using the Office Depot yet!

I have used vistaprint for mainly business cards and flyers since we go through a lot with the store we run. I have also had a few larger posters printed. The quality is always good and the prices are pretty low which is one of the main reasons I switched to them after seeing their commercials on TV a few times. I wish shipping was a bit faster as waiting 10 business days for my flyers can be a pain if I don't get more order in soon enough.

The other thing I don't mind is being on their email list as they are contently sending me coupon codes for like 25% off printed materials. If you think of trying them out for your business I would recommend making an account on their site and wait for a week or 2 since I am sure they will send you a few discount codes to try and get your business.
